| We have kept the wine that each estate of the lower valley looks after lovingly in its cellar, whether it is an elegant chateau or a modest vineyard. | On the banks of the river Lot, come and discover REUTENAUER and the greatest wines of Cahors. |

Using Auxerre vines, worked on original land, the dark Cahors wines express their flavour in terms of wild berries. An "appellation contrôlée" since 1971, here the wine has developed this unique characteristic, seducing a famous oenologist who said: "For anyone who has tasted them, Cahors wines are tremendous wines." The words of a connoisseur. Cahors has a Wine museum in La Chantrerie, the former fermenting room of the Chapter. Every spring in Albas there is a party; at the foot of the elegantly planted hillsides, "the good air is in the cellars"... and that is definitely worth celebrating! |

The Bovila hill, to the South West of Cahors, is proud of having 20 hectares of vines on its clay-chalk soil. The wines from Bovila are of great renown. No chemical products or weedkillers are used, a choice which goes against current methods and practices. Here, they turn their backs on the easy methods which use, for example, filtration or systematic clarifying... and it's just as well, as the product is quite simply magnificent. Strong and characteristic, this Cahors wine is a joy for even the most demanding of wine enthusiasts. A privileged guest at the grandest of tables, it will always be your favourite dinner guest. Serve it with the best gastronomic dishes from the South West. |
